Sexual Harassment: How to Train the Trainer

Details:
SB 1343, the new law passed this year, requires all employers with five or more employees to conduct one hour of harassment training for non-supervisor employees, and two hours for managers and supervisors. If you are a Human Resources professional with a minimum of two years of experience in one or more of the following areas, this luncheon will qualify you to conduct supervisor and non-supervisor employee training in-house:
  1. Designing or conducting anti-discrimination, anti-retaliation and sexual harassment prevention training; and/or
  2. Responding to harassment complaints, including conducting investigations of sexual harassment complaints.
The course will cover what needs to be included in the training, “real world” examples, handout material for employees and what you need to make this training engaging!

Janelle Arsich has over 16 years of experience in the Human Resources field as well as several years in business administration. Ms. Arsich focuses on employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, employee handbooks and legal compliance, to name a few of the many services she provides to her clients.  Janelle has a Professional of Human Resources certification from University of California, Davis Extension and a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from California State University, Sacramento.
