SEAC presents a wage and hour marathon. This interactive session will benefit HR Professionals from beginners to the most advanced, alike. Our workshop will be led by experts on wage and hour issues ranging from technical requirements for issuing pay to employees, to a discussion on trends in enforcement claims and insight into California class action lawsuits. You do not want to miss out on this valuable information.

Erica Rosasco is a partner at McKague Rosasco LLP in Roseville. She has been named for the last 4 years as a Super Lawyer of Northern CA. She litigates cases in the areas of employment law, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, ADA defense, wage and hour disputes & class actions.

Katie Briscoe is an associate at Orrick’s Employment Law Group in Sacramento. She focuses on employment litigation and counseling. Katie has experience defending employers against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, and wage and hour violations. Katie has counseled employers regarding their policies and decision-making to ensure compliance with CA law.

Joel M. Van Parys is a Partner at Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger in Sacramento. He successfully argued for and achieved summary judgment of claims for CA-based wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. This includes litigation defense of claims for wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour.

Natalie Fujikawa is an attorney at the Fisher Phillips Sacramento office. She specializes in employment litigation and counseling for employers across a variety of industries, with extensive experience handling all aspects of employment litigation, both state and federal.
