Speaker:
Peter Wercinski is an Administrative Law Judge with the Bay Area Office of Appeals of the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. He has conducted more than 10,000 judicial hearings in unemployment and state disability cases since his appointment as a judge in 2004. Peter regularly hears cases in San Francisco, Oakland, Santa Rosa, Concord, Suisun City, and Eureka. Before becoming an ALJ, Peter was an attorney for over 20 years in Houston, San Francisco, and Anchorage, Alaska handling employment, natural resources, real estate, environmental insurance, and civil litigation matters. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School.
